Hello there, want to learn or get better at Clarinet, Flute, Saxophone, or Oboe?

I'm a Masters of Clarinet Performance student who has been teaching lessons and music theory for about 9 years. I believe in healthy, performance oriented learning in a fun, individualized environment.

9 years teaching woodwind lessons
Working on MM in Clarinet with Jean Kopperud, Julliard
Working on PhD in Musicology
Assistant Directed Middle School Band, High School Band
Instructor at Appel Farm Summer Arts Camp from 2007- present
Active performer of classical and contemporary music with both student and professional groups
Education background, I studied Ed Pysch as an Undergraduate

I'm a fun, focused teacher who believes in honing in on what the student wants and adapting my lessons accordingly. I very often arrange or alter music for specific instrumentation, small ensembles, and for performance. With each lesson I try to teach technique, history, theory, and performance practice to create a well-balanced musician.
