Have that quality Cocktail-Hour music, without the "OVER THE TOP VOLUME!!". Bob Hornyak has been performing Cocktail-Hour music for over 10 years, and has an extensive performance resume as a Herald-Trumpeteer as well. Performances include The American Bridal Show, The Valor Awards for the N.J.F.M.B.A., The Tropicana, and The United Nations; as well as many other private events.
Bob performs on multiple trumpet-family instruments , accompanied by a compact disc background of piano, combos, bands, and orchestras. It's like hiring a band, but without paying the band rate, and being blown out with the extreme volume. Only a 10ft square area is needed for the performance. It's billed as an intimate performance; meaning that the sound of the trumpet is natural. Bob doesn't use a microphone; and the background accompaniment is calibrated to match that volume level. I cannot fill a room of 1,000 people with sound. If that's what you need, you will have to look somewhere else.
Bob's music includes Baroque Classical, Jazz, Swing, Big Band, Duke Ellington, Gershwin, Show Tunes, Dixieland, Pop, Rock and Easy-Listening. Bob performs on only professional quality Bach and Yamaha instruments. The base Cocktail-Hour starts at $350, and corporate is $500. Performances can be extended up to 3 hours to fit your needs. A 3 hour performance would consist of 20 minute sets of "live" music ,alternated with 20 minute breaks while c.d.'s are played.
