Guitar and Drum Set Instruction

I have been playing guitar for fifteen years, the drums for about eight years, and I've been teaching both for three years.
I've performed on both instruments in a variety of different genres and settings - classical, jazz, rock, folk, avant garde, and everything in between. I've even performed for musical theater! My instruction has been similarly varied. I have taught all of the above genres to students of all ages from four years old to adults. I have also taught in both individual and group environments.
I also dabble in a variety of other instruments and would like to try my hand at teaching them to beginners - harmonica, keyboard, bass guitar, banjo, violin, and hand percussion.
I have a BA in Music from the University of Central Florida, where I received instruction in music theory, sight reading, ear-training, and audio recording.
I am a patient teacher and I adapt lessons to the skills, tastes, and pace of the students. I love playing music and passing that passion on to new students.
