I am currently seeking employment as a part time nanny or sitter. I already have a part time job running the after school program at the Red Hook Playgroup a small parent coop preschool in Red Hook. I am also eager to pursue a masters degree in Child Life from Bank Street College of Education. I am currently in the application process.
A little about myself as a nanny,
I am creative, I have a BA in Visual Art from Hunter College and have taken many classes in various crafts including, quilting, weaving, knitting, spinning and dyeing and have taught some of these crafts to children and adults.
I am experienced, I have 10 years of experience as a baby sitter and nanny, and have been working in schools, summer camps, and after school programs for the last 6 years.
I am fun, I have references to attest to this.
And I have the BEST INTEREST OF YOUR CHILDREN AT HEART! I'd much rather read books, sing songs, play games, or make art than put a child in front of a television set, or myself for that matter, although I'm not against a fun movie on a rainy day. Mary Poppins is one of my favorite.
