German Nanny with recent 3 year experience

Dear family,

I'm a 21-year-old German nanny and originally came as an Au Pair to Conecticut in July 2007. As an Au Pair I lived with a hostfamily in Old Greenwich.

Since spring ’09 I have been taking classes in English, at the University of Conneticut in Stamford, and in Fashion Design at the Fashion Institute of Technology in New York. This fall I’m starting as a full-time student with a Business Major at the Fashion Institute of Technology in New York.

Qualifications:

Several years experience (infants and children); First Aid certified (infant/child & adult); fully immunized; I also attended an Au Pair/Nanny school in NY in 2007 and made a 1month intership at a preschool in Germany in 2007 aswell.

I have taken care of kids in the ages between 1 and 7, boys aswell as girls. I'm experienced in taking care of a group of several kids, planning field trips and supervising those also. I took care full-time of a 7 & a 5-year-old boy the last 2 years and we had a blast going swimming and doing all kinds of different afternoon activities in- or outdoor. Besides that I have also been babysitting for other families with kids in the ages from 1 to 7 in the last 12 month.

I've taken care of pretty much children of all ages in challenging but also wonderful moments.

I enjoy working with children of all different ages, I love to go to the park, being outside, doing handicrafts, cook or bake, organize playdates, museuums, etc.

I also have a passion for sewing and have already taken several sewing classes either over here in America or back in Germany. I’m not a Professional but I love to do it as a hobby. I don't know if that's a plus, but I just wanted to mention it because it tells more about myself :)

I work very hard to and provide an environment that nurtures growth and development. I support parents and encourage healthy habits and behavior. While my primary focus is caring for the children, I also assist w/household duties (cooking/cleaning/laundry)

, run errands, and help w/homework. I'm very clean and well organized.

I'm very sorry but I won't work under 15 $ per hour! I will devote all my responsibility, love and attention to your children and think it is just fair to appreciate it with the right amount of hourly rage.

I'm used to busy schedules and rushing from one appointment to the other one. I'm experienced and used to be fully responsible.

I promise to devote my time to keep your children happy, healthy and safe while they’re in my care. I’m a very open-hearted, positive, energetic, reliable, helpful, kind and outgoing person. I usually never have problems in establishing a loved reltionship to children and keep them happy during my working shift ;)

I prefer open communication to avoid problems & trouble. I hope the family agrees with that, too.

Since my family lives far far away in Germany I'm definitely looking to work with a great family! I hope to talk to you soon!
